I’m Casper Douma — a photographer shaped by two worlds: the warm, clear waters of Bonaire and the raw, icy wilderness of the Arctic. My journey began on a small Caribbean island, where the ocean became my classroom and wildlife my first teachers. What started as documenting everyday moments soon grew into a passion for telling real, honest stories through images.
Over the years I photographed in the Arctic but mostly in the warm waters of Bonaire. Working among whales, dolphins, and vast untouched landscapes. The contrast between these environments sharpened my eye and defined my style: calm, respectful, patient, and always connected to nature.
Today, my work focuses on capturing wildlife and remote places with authenticity — no rush, no staging, just the truth of the moment. Whether I’m floating above coral reefs or navigating Arctic fjords, my goal is simple: to create images that make people feel the same wonder I felt when I first looked through the lens.
